Company History
Our Firm Sunil K. Khanna & Co. was founded in 2nd February, 1976 by our founder Late Mr. Sunil Kumar Khanna. He completed his schooling from D.A.V. School, Chandigarh and thereon went on to be a graduate by Chandigarh University. He cleared his Chartered Accountancy Course in 1975. During the course of his education he got an opportunity to work with many renowned firms of the Era of 1970’s enriching his experience in field of Audit and Taxation in India. He was one of the pioneers in India in Taxation and Corporate Law.
He founded the firm with a vision to build an institution of learning for the team members associated with the firm and a to render one stop solution to his clients. His focus at all times was to help and guide his clients to the path of prosperity. In 2022, the firm welcomed a new partner, CA. Saurabh Chhabra, who brought in a fresh perspective and new ideas to the firm.

1977
In 1977, the firm set up its first office at Regal Building, Connaught Place, which was then the commercial hub of Delhi and a prime location in the heart of Delhi. The office was modest, but it was equipped with the latest technology and infrastructure to provide efficient and reliable services to clients. This move marked the beginning of the firm’s growth and expansion, as it began to attract clients from a wide range of industries and sectors.
1982
Over the years, the firm continued to grow and expand its operations, and in 1982, it moved to a bigger office at Jhandewalan. The new office at Jhandewalan, was more centrally located and easily accessible.This move provided the firm with the space and resources it needed to take on larger and more complex projects, and enabled it to provide even more comprehensive services to its clients.
2002
In 2002, the firm welcomed a new member to its team – CA. Sumeet Khanna, the son of the firm’s founders. With his expertise and an experience, CA. Sumeet Khanna quickly became an integral part of the firm’s operations, and helped to guide it through a period of significant growth and expansion. He brought in fresh ideas and perspectives to the firm, and played a key role in enhancing the firm’s capabilities and reputation.
2003
In 2003, the firm moved to an even bigger office at Chiranjiv Tower, Nehru Place, which was a strategic location for serving clients. This move provided the firm with even more space and resources, and allowed it to take on even more clients and projects. The new office was equipped with state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure, including advanced accounting software, high-speed internet, and video conferencing facilities.
2005
In 2005, the firm invested in starting a parallel venture of Insurance Brokerage, which was licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Development Authority for an providing comprehensive insurance solutions to corporate and retail clients. The insurance brokerage division was a strategic move to diversify the firm’s services and offer a one-stop solution to clients’ financial needs.
2007
Unfortunately, 2007, our founder, CA. Sunil Kumar Khanna, passed away. This event was a major blow to the firm, as it had to cope with the loss of one of its key members. However, the firm persevered and continued to provide quality services to its clients, while also paying tribute to the legacy of its founder. CA. Sumeet Khanna was promoted as the Managing Partner of the firm.
2015
In 2015, CA. Harmeet Singh joined the firm as a partner. CA. Harmeet Singh brought in a wealth of experience and expertise in the areas of Audit and advisory services. He played a pivotal role in consolidating the firm’s position in the market and expanding its client base. CA. Harmeet Singh quickly became an integral part of the firm’s operations, and helped to guide the firm through a period of significant growth and expansion.
2022
